The American Society of Employers (ASE) is a not-for-profit employer association serving Michigan’s Human Resource business community. ASE provides programs and services that enable member organizations to address their most challenging human resource issues. Since 1902, member organizations have relied on ASE to be their single, cost-effective source for information and support on all matters affecting the employer-employee relationship. ASE is an affiliate of the Employer Associations of America.



Automation Alley is a non-profit business association that drives growth and economic development through a collaborative culture that focuses on workforce and business development initiatives. Automation Alley attracts the creators and consumers of diverse technologies from a variety of industries around the world. The Automation Alley region encompasses the City of Detroit and counties of Genesee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne.

New Horizons Computer Learning Centers is the world leader in computer training. With nine convenient locations in the Michigan, Chicago and Cleveland area and our flexible training delivery techniques, there is a training schedule to fit even the busiest of schedules. For small, medium and large organizations, New Horizons has become a single source for all their IT training. They offer a wide selection of technical classes and certification packages.



Oakland Community College Economic and Workforce Development offers a variety of programs and services including corporate offerings, facilities usage, short-term training, grant funding, and IT resources.



Oakland County Business Center (MI-SBTDC) focus is assisting small business owners. According to the Small Business Administration (SBA), one of the definitions of a small business is one with fewer than 500 employees. Oakland County Business Center’s sweet spot is companies with one to nine employees representing traditional and Emerging Sector businesses. Services are funded by Oakland County tax payer dollars and are available to Oakland County businesses and residents.



OCPEDS offers business services, planning, market research, maps and other information vital to businesses establishing or maintaining a presence in Oakland County.

The mission of the Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) of Michigan is to enhance national defense and economic development of the State of Michigan by assisting Michigan businesses in obtaining and performing on federal, state and local government contracts.
